Josie Ceniceros:
"I began my career working with the Ventura County Public Defender as an Assistant Investigator in 1992. When I left the office in 1998 I was a Senior Investigator.
I am now employed with the Marin County Public Defender as the lead investigator. I am also the only Spanish speaking investigator in the Marin Office.

In 1999 I was appointed to fill a vacancy on the DIA Board.  Not only
has being on the Board benefited me personally but it has also benefited
my department and my career. I served as President of the association
from 2003-2004. I was in the first graduating class of D.I.T.A. in 2001
and have been able to testify that I have a Certificate in Criminal
Defense Investigation.  I am currently on the website committee.

It has been a truly rewarding experience to be a member of the Board of Directors for DIA. Not only has the training been exceptional but I have met many wonderful investigators throughout the state and have forged many new friendships."
