Alayne Bolster:

Greetings.  After graduating with a B.A. in Criminology from U.C. Berkeley, I began my career as a criminal defense investigator for Santa Clara County in 1976.  In 1983, I earned an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.  In 1987, I became a Supervising Investigator and was promoted to Chief Investigator in 1996.

I have attended many DIA conferences and one session of DITA.  The professionalism of our association and of our members has always been as source of pride for me.  Therefore, when the Board nominated me to fill a vacancy in 2005, I enthusiastically accepted the opportunity to serve as a Board member.  As a board member, I pledge to support DIA’s tradition of promoting training, communication and professional recognition for defense investigators.
